Quaden Bayles, a 12-year-old boy from Australia, captured the world’s attention in early 2020 when a video of him weeping due to bullying went viral. Quaden was born with achondroplasia, a form of dwarfism, and his classmates at school made fun of him because of it. His mother, Yarraka Bayles, shared the heartbreaking video to raise awareness about the impact of bullying.

The video quickly gained traction online, and many celebrities showed their support for Quaden, including Hugh Jackman, who offered to be his friend. But Quaden’s story didn’t stop there. In fact, he’s now set to star in a major Hollywood movie alongside Chris Hemsworth.

Oscar-winning filmmaker George Miller cast Quaden in his upcoming film, Furiosa, the fifth installment in the Mad Max series. Quaden will appear alongside Hemsworth and Anya Taylor-Joy, and the movie is set to be released in May 2024.

This isn’t Quaden’s first foray into acting, either. He appeared as an extra in Miller’s Three Thousand Years of Longing and has worked with actors like Idris Elba and Tilda Swinton. Quaden has expressed his love for acting and his desire to do more of it in the future.
Miller praised Quaden’s talent and knowledge of movies, saying that he did a terrific job in his previous film. He was moved by the video that Quaden’s mother shared and wanted to give him this incredible opportunity.

We can’t wait to see Quaden on the big screen and hope that this is just the beginning of a long and successful career for him. His story is an inspiration to people all over the world, and we must continue to raise awareness about the impact of bullying and the importance of kindness and acceptance.
