When Matt MacMillan’s premature son, Ryan, was born 9 weeks early and weighed just under 3 pounds, he and his wife wondered what their son would look like as an adult. So they had a brilliant idea: take photos of Ryan doing manly things and post them on Instagram. The results are hilarious!

Pregnancy is a miraculous and often difficult process, and for some families, the road to bringing their child into the world can be filled with unexpected challenges. Such was the case for Matt MacMillan and his wife, who gave birth to their son Ryan 9 weeks prematurely. Weighing just under 3 pounds, Ryan spent 6 weeks in the NICU before he was able to go home with his family.

They had a brilliant idea: to take photos of Ryan doing manly things and share them on Instagram for all to see. From driving a tank to playing a game of football, the MacMillan family used Photoshop to transform their premature baby into a grown man. The results are absolutely hilarious.

While some may be concerned about the safety of Ryan in these photos, rest assured that he was never in any danger. The “dangers” depicted in the photos were all created using Photoshop, and Ryan was never put in harm’s way.
