The tragic reality of landmines is that they don’t discriminate. They can harm anyone, including innocent animals. Mosha, a seven-month-old baby elephant, is one such victim. Her life was forever changed when a landmine destroyed her front right leg. The injury not only left her without a limb, but it also placed a lot of strain on her spine and remaining three legs. But thanks to the tireless efforts of the Friends of the Eastern Elephant Foundation (FAE) in Thailand, Mosha was given a second chance at a normal life.
