Animal abuse is a significant problem in today’s world, and the story of Mufasa, a mountain lion who was chained for 20 years, is one such example. Chaining wild animals is inhumane, and it causes them to suffer from physical and psychological problems. The story of Mufasa touched many hearts when he was rescued by the Animal Defenders International Group.

Mufasa was caged in a Peru circus, which was breaking the law as it was not allowed to keep wild animals in captivity. The rescue mission of the Animal Defenders International Group aimed to free every caged wild animal from the circuses in Peru. They were successful in their mission, and Mufasa was the last animal to be rescued. After living a life of misery and chains, Mufasa was finally free.

However, due to his 20-year captivity, Mufasa could not return to the wild. He was taken to a Peruvian sanctuary and provided with a special place to stay. The sanctuary was built in the Peruvian forest, where Mufasa can live out the rest of his life without the restrictions of chains.
