Rescued Beluga Whales Rejoice: Little Gray and Little White’s Journey to Freedom

Beluga whales, also known as sea canaries, are magnificent creatures known for their distinctive white skin and playful nature. However, for Little Gray and Little White, life was far from playful. These two beluga whales spent nearly a decade performing tricks in Shanghai Ocean World, where they were kept captive and used as exhibition animals.

However, all of that changed when they were rescued by the Sea Life Trust, a British organization dedicated to saving marine life.
