Ukrainian Woman Carries Her Elderly Dog 10 Miles Across the Border During Escape

Alisa’s family had an unfortunate mishap on the day of the invasion, which prevented them from leaving Kyiv. However, with the help of a German firm, Alisa was able to relocate to Poland with her family. The journey was long and difficult, and the family had to navigate through traffic jams at the border.Her willingness to go the extra mile for her furry family members is a testament to the unbreakable bond between humans and their pets.

To make matters worse, the family’s German Shepherd, Pulya, was 12 and a half years old and having difficulty walking. Despite the challenges, Alisa refused to leave Pulya behind and carried him for 10 miles during their walk to the Poland border. Her other dog, Kolt, and the children also struggled during the journey.

Despite receiving encouragement to leave their pets behind, Alisa and her husband were determined to bring them to safety. The elderly Pulya would often trip and fall, and the couple would lift him and carry him for short distances.As Alisa and her family settle into their new life in Poland, we can only hope that they continue to receive the love and support they deserve
